The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides an additional 30 days for public comment on the revision of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collected, ATF Form 3310.11, is used by Federal firearms licensees to report theft or loss of inventory or collection to the Attorney General and other appropriate authorities.
