The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on April 29, 2016. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides an additional 30 days for public comment on the revision of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the National Response Team (NRT) survey, which is used to support a Bureau performance measure and to assess strengths and weaknesses of a major program of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
