The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the extension of an existing collection. The proposed information collection will be used by ATF to identify the correct location of FEL licensees or permittees address and where their explosive materials are being stored for purposes of inspection. This information will additionally be used to notify licensees/permittees about any changes in regulation or law that may affect their business activities.
