Extension With Change of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 60 days for public comment on the extension with change of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the Transactions Among Licensee/Permittees and Transactions Among Licensees and Holders of User Permits requires that all explosives’ licensee/permittees and holders of user permits maintain records of all explosives transactions as outlined in 27 CFR 555.103, for compliance with the Safe Explosives Act.
