The fire occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Feb. 22, 2025. A passerby reported the blaze, and Puxico Fire and Rescue responded to the scene at 260 E. Richardson Ave. The fire spread to several connected structures, causing extensive damage to nearby businesses and efficiency apartments.
