Residency and Citizenship Questionnaire (ATF Form 8620.58 )(OMB Number 1140-New)

The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on a new collection. The proposed information collection pertains to Residency and Citizenship Questionnaire—ATF Form 8620.58 will be used to determine if a candidate for Federal or contractor employment at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), meet U.S. residency and citizenship requirements.
