Paperwork Reduction Act Revision of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on April 10, 2019 As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the extension with change of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to ATF Form 6 – Part II (5330.3B) that is used to determine if the article(s) described in the application qualifies for importation by the importer, and to serve as the authorization for the importer.
