Paperwork Reduction Act Revision of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on June 21, 2019. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the revision of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the Application to Transport Interstate or Temporarily Export Certain National Firearms Act (NFA) – ATF Form 5320.20, that provides for the regulatory requirements, and may be used as a written request.
