The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 60 days for public comment on the revision of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collection pertains to enabling ATF to determine if limited permittees have exceeded the number of receipts of explosives materials they are allowed, as well as the eligibility of such persons to purchases explosive materials.
