List of Responsible Persons (OMB Number 1140- 0074)

The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on November 8, 2019. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the extension without change of an existing collection. The proposed information collection pertains to 27 CFR Section 555.57, requiring all persons holding ATF explosive licenses or permits as of May 23, 2003 to report descriptive information about their responsible persons and possessors of explosives to ATF. Subsequent changes to their list of responsible persons must also be reported to ATF.
