Extension Without Change of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides an additional 30 days for public comment on the extension without change of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the Notice of Firearms Manufactured or Imported-ATF Form 2 (5320.2), that requires a person who is qualified to manufacture National Firearms Act (NFA) firearms, or a person who is qualified to import NFA firearms to register manufactured or imported NFA firearms.
