Paperwork Reduction Act Revision of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. The proposed information collection was previously published in the Federal Register on August 4, 2017. The proposed information collection pertains to ATF Form 6A (5330.3C). The form is used to determine if articles imported meet the statutory and regulatory criteria for importation and if the articles shown on the permit application have actually been imported.
