Revision of a Currently Approved Information Collection
Purpose
The Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 requires agencies to publish proposed information collections in the Federal Register for public comment before an agency can use the process (generally a form) to collect information from the public. As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act, this notice provides 30 days for public comment on the revision of a currently approved collection. The proposed information collection pertains to the Report of Multiple Sale or Other Disposition of Pistols and Revolvers—ATF Form 3310.4 that is used to report multiple sale or other disposition of two or more pistols, revolvers, or any combination of pistols or revolvers to an unlicensed person, whether it occurs one time or within five consecutive business days.
