$5,000 Reward for information in Indianapolis Homicide
INDIANAPOLIS — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is announcing a $5,000.00 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the shooting death of Eric Butler that occurred on Friday, June 19, 2026.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the 200 block of South Franklin Road at approximately 2:25 a.m. to a report of a shooting victim. The victim, Eric Butler, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.
ATF is assisting the IMPD with this investigation and is providing all available resources to bring the offender(s) to justice. ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information related to the identification of those responsible for this senseless act of violence.
