Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

DALLAS — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Dallas Field Division is offering a $5,000 reward, combined with an additional $5,000 offered by the National Sports Shooting Foundation (NSSF), for a total reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the armed robbery of a federal firearms licensee (FFL) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

On Sunday, May 22, 2017, at approximately 10:00 a.m., two subjects entered Fast Cash Pawn located in the 5900 block of Northwest Expressway. The suspects wore dark-colored hooded sweatshirts bearing high school logos. Both suspects used bandanas to cover the lower half of their faces and carried hand guns. One suspect chased an employee to the back of the business where the suspect fired a round from his firearm. The employee was not struck. The suspect ordered the employee to return the front of the store and open the cash register at gunpoint. The second suspect broke several glass display cases from which he removed 23 handguns and an unknown amount of jewelry. The stolen items were placed in a red bag the suspects carried with them. No members of the public were present at the time of the robbery. No employees were injured during the robbery. The suspects were captured on video surveillance footage.

 

One suspect is described as a black adult male, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, this suspect wore dark-colored jeans, a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt with the words “John Marshall High School” in white letters, black tennis shoes, and a black-colored bandana covering the lower half of his face.

 

The other suspect is described as black adult male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. At the time of the robbery, this suspect wore gray-colored sweat pants, a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt with the words “Carl Albert High School” in red and white letters, black tennis shoes, and a red and white-colored bandana covering the lower half of his face. This suspect carried the red bag in which the firearms and jewelry were placed.

 

This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF, the trade association for the firearms industry, and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers.
