Circumstances of Death

Prohibition Agents Grover Todd and Glenn Price were attempting to arrest Phillip Warren, a known bootlegger in Grand Ronde, OR.  Warren escaped, obtained a hidden rifle and killed both agents.  Warren was later taken into custody and charged with murder under State law.

Background

Agent Todd joined the Prohibition Unit on April 10, 1922, with an annual salary of $1,800.
